
Lennart Ström
DIRECTOR
As Director of m:brane, Lennart is in charge of the whole event in Malmö, content wise in collaboration with Senior Creative Advisor Annette Brejner. He is the point-of-connection for Decision Makers and he is responsible for the contact with financiers and collaborators.
Lennart Ström has been in the film business since the mid 80’s with many different hats, Producer, Festival Director, Project Manager, member of boards of different organisations connected to the audio-visual industry. Several Awards for his work within this field.

Annette Brejner
CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT AND INT. PARTNERSHIPS
Annette has over two decades of experience in the media industries with the specific focus on kids content development. Following the growth of both the Forum Event and the development in kids media, she now holds the position as Senior Creative Advisor, with emphasis on designing future industry activities and focusing on international partnerships. She is maintaining an ongoing dialogue with industry and national and international stakeholders, leads the development of the Forums identity-shift, and reinforces the positioning of m:brane and independent media for Young Audiences within the industry. She has the past 13 years become increasingly curious and deeper submerged in the question about the correlation between new technology, immersive experiences, the industry and young audiences’ innate intelligence and intellectual sophistication.

Maritte Sørensen
PROJECT MANAGER & PITCHING EVENTS
Maritte will be the first point of contact for Producers, as she is responsible for organising the pitching events together with making sure all parts of m:brane forum is going according to the plan. She holds an MA in film and media production from the University of Lund and has been involved in several film festivals in the south of Sweden being festival director of Lund Fantasic Film Festival from 2018 - 2020. She’s is currently based in Klitmøller, Denmark, where she is inwolved with Cold Hawaii Surf & Film festival. Furthermore has she been responsible for the design and building of the new m:brane website launched in 2021.

Sebastian Claesson
COMMUNICATION & PRESS
Sebastian coordinates and carries out most of m:brane’s communication efforts. Handling our newsletter and social media accounts. He is a journalist with a a background in radio- and television-journalism. Currently also a part of the Swedish production house Auto Images. He has a bachelor‘s degree in Journalism from the School of Journalism at Gothenburg University. Sebastian is a member of M:brane’s board.

Camilla Larsson
MATCHMAKING
Camilla is responsible for all one-to-one meetings at m:brane. She is a journalist, film critic and moderator. She is the Programme Manager of Seminars, as well as a programmer, at Göteborg Film Festival. She works, and has worked, for several different film festivals and other cultural events, such as Carl International Film Festival, the International Comedy Film Festival and Scen Österlen, a theatre company for children and teenagers. She frequently moderates seminars and talks at film festivals, cinemas and other events. Earlier in her career she directed a few short films and hade a go at different film crew positions as well as acting.

Ann Bergström
Ann is curating and coordinating m:brane Learning - The Non-Didactic Universe 2023. With a background in education, culture, art, film and media, since the late 70’s, she is excited to be working with m:brane Learning:
Ann has a solid experience as art teacher in public schools, project manager for cultural events, unit director for grants and support at the City of Malmö and the regional art collection of Region Västra Götaland. As culture secretary at the cultural departments of The City of Malmö, Region Skåne and The City of Gothenburg she was responsible for film, media, visual arts and design. Today she is working as a freelancer and also has her own practice in visual art.

Eldina Sulejmani
Eldina is our online coordinator at m:brane. She has studied film at Lunds university and Skurups Folkhögskola and has graduated at Kulturverkstan in Gothenburg as International Cultural Project Manager. Moreover, Eldina has experience on working on film festivals as she has been an intern at Buff Filmfestival as well as volunteering at several film festivals around Skåne, besides that, she has worked on several film projects. Currently, Eldina is working as a film pedagogue alongside her own film projects.

Alicja Cupial-Nurnberg
Alicja has her Master in Sport Management from Real Madrid Graduate School and her Bachelor in Event Management from UCN Aalborg. She has a big drive to design and deliver events and social experiences. Alicja has been working as a project manager for different cultural and sport events.
She is the founder and director of Cold Hawaii Surf & Film Festival in Denmark. Besides working "in the field" Alicja has experience as a lecturer in culture and event management. As well as experience in commercial film production. Alicja will assist in the coordination of the forum together with Project Manager Maritte Sørensen.

Celia Daher
Celia has been working for several years as a photographer, and is currently studying Human Rights and Gender Studies at Lund University. She has previously worked as the Volunteer Coordinator for Nordisk Panorama Film Festival, and been part of the online support team at BUFF - The International Film Festival for Children and Young People in Malmö, Sweden.
Celia will be ready and happy to guide all our guests of this year’s forum, with questions such as “How do I get my accreditation” and “where can I see my meetings”?.

Simon Öhlund
Simon is a filmmaker and writer, who has been a part of m:brane since 2019. He began his career working as a freelance photographer at special events such as premieres, carnivals, and financing forums both at home and abroad.
After graduating in film and media from New Malmö Latin School he was given a scholarship as the most honorable film student of the year. Later on Simon has studied film at Lunds University and Skurups Folkhögskola. Since graduating Simon has continued to work in all forms of media, mostly as a coordinator, writer, and first assistant director. Simon will make sure that the venue of m:brane 2023, will be ready to welcome you.

Siyu Hua
Siyu holds a MA in Visual Culture at Lund University. She will be helpingwith the execution of m:brane communicationt. She holds a BA degree of film studies in Chongqing University, China and had been involved in one of the biggest TV channels in China as a public relations intern and Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival as assistant journalist.

Wei Xu
Wei will be taking care of the volunteer community at m:brane and helps create a wonderful experience for everybody involved. She has an educational and professional background in film and media. She holds a BA in Cinema and Television production, and she is currently studying Film and Media History at Lund University. She had worked for two different film festivals in China and Sweden before–Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival and Nordisk Panorama Film Festival. Besides, she has been active as an editor, especially for short documentaries. She is keen on exploring the differences of the media landscape and film industry between Europe and East Asia.
