The Crossing @ Union Copenhagen

Congrats to the team behind the former m:brane project The Crossing that will be installed at Union Copenhagen between 16-23rd of March!

The Crossing, an immersive site-specific VR experience, has had a long relationship with m:brane. Pitched twice, first in 2017 and then coming back at last year’s Forum for a new pitch presentation.

This unique project, directed by Neil Bell at Impact Unified in co-production with German Duellmann Filmproduktion, will make the participants embody and feel what a refugee experiences during the sea crossing to Europe. The installation consists of both film/s and a physical space to create an interactive experience.

The Crossing has had a successful ride after being presented at m:brane for the first time. It was part of The Journey project which was selected for the Meet Market at the Sheffield Doc Fest. The project was also selected by the Torino Film Lab & the Short Film Market for their VR stories section.
