M:brane project submission 2021 is now closed and we thank you for all your submissions this year. We will announce the selected projects on January 28th, 2021, through our website and in our newsletter. 

In March we will see you on our digital platform for both pitching, meetings and our Opening Industry Day!

Submitting to M:brane is free of charge. If your project is selected you will be charged a fee to participate.

M:brane Pitch Categories 2021

M:brane has hitherto concentrated on projects in development, which will stay an important part of the forum. Based on research reports for Nordic Co-Productions for Children and Youth and feedback from various Decision Makers, we believe, that there is a demand for works, that are further down the line of realisation and we look forward to welcome our new pitch category, W-I-P, for Work In Progress projects.

This years pitch categories includes our Main Pitch, for projects in development, RealYoung Pitch, for documentary project in development and W-I-P, for projects  that have gone into production, who are in post production or otherwise seem eligiable for this category.

If the project is selected please be aware that the infomation you submit will in our catalogue. Please check your submission for spelling mistakes, incorrect information and other inconsistencies.

The images you submit must have a resolution fit for printing - at least 300 dpi. 

When applying, the project must have finalized at least 10% of the financing. This financing shall be presented with at least a signed 'Letter of Intent' from a financier with the granted sums defined.

The budget must be in currency of EURO and all documentation MUST be presented in English. A maximum of two projects per company can be entered.

Producers can apply without a director attached.

Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Submissions in other languages than English will not be accepted. Submissions with budgets in other currencies than EURO will not be accepted.

Upon completion of project, you must mention that you have pitched the project at M:brane and feature M:branes logo in the credits. To obtain a logo, please write us an email. 



The Pitch accreditation includes the following submission categories: Main Pitch, RealYoung Pitch and Work in Progress.

Price excl. 25% VAT is 2000 SEK (around €210) and gives access to all three days of M:brane for up to two people including meetings with decision makers.
For teams of 3 or more people the price is 1,000 SEK, excl. 25% VAT, extra per person.  

This accreditation includes:

  • Exclusive consultancy pre-meeting with the Pitch Moderator and M:brane Project Manager
  • Pitch training with pitch coach Thomas Borch Nielsen (if selected in the submission form)
  • Hand-on advices and prepartion techniques
  • Match made one-to-one meetings with decision makers
  • Observers seat at M:brane Pitching Event 1 + 2
