The m:brane initiative REALYOUNG© for Documentaries has dedicated its work to become a Greenhouse of development, experiment and opportunity for the network of progressive Producers and Decision Makers forcefully bringing innovative, artistic content with an edge to life for sophisticated, intelligent and savvy young audiences.
Since its inception in 2015 – initiated by Creative Director Annette Brejner –REALYOUNG© for Documentaries for youths has not only endured but has become a significant, decisive force for the development, growth and recognition of the international Youth Documentary scene.
m:brane’s REALYOUNG© is a well designed development scheme, which – in tune with the overall vision of m:brane – bring documentary producers in close dialogue with funders, distributors and a board of youth experts, to strengthen their quest for creating daring, edgy and contemporary projects for the international market.
m:brane’s REALYOUNG© is in collaboration with Paradiddle Pictures, that is offering documentary training, guidance, content and partnership, based in Copenhagen, DK and IDFA – the world’s biggest documentary film festival, Amsterdam, NL
WHAT?
REALYOUNG© is a 3-step programme where creators, funders, experts and publishers will develop, present and network with the aim of bringing great real life stories for kids or youth across borders to an international audience.
It is possible to submit a project for the following workshop categories:
Get individual feedback through online consultation
Take part in an intensive 1-day development program, with Experts and a number of m:brane’s Youth Experts
Have individual meetings with potential collaborators
Gain full access to to the whole program and network of m:brane
Get opportunity to make new alliances with international colleagues
Obtain extensive knowledge about the international market for documentaries for children and youth
Receive advice and analysis of the project’s market potential
Get into dialogue with Youth Experts, who can support with viewpoints and trends within the target group communities
