Christina Maria Schollerer is the founder of StoryDesign.Studio and the Head of the DIGITAL Competition at the German Children’s Media Festival GOLDEN SPARROW. Based in Berlin, she is dedicated to crafting diverse storytelling experiences across media platforms and fostering dialogue among creators, scholars, and audiences. Since 2012, Christina has been teaching format development and storytelling at universities in Germany and abroad. In 2013, her online course, “The Future of Storytelling,” was one of the first MOOCs to reach over 90,000 learners internationally. Simultaneously, Christina has authored several fictional transmedia projects and children’s books. In 2019, she was invited to redesign and curate the DIGITAL competition at GOLDEN SPARROW, focusing on high-quality digital storytelling for young audiences. In this role, Christina aims to combine innovative exhibition, dialogue, and education formats both in Erfurt, Gera, and in the digital realm.
