m:braneWe’ve asked our Youth Experts to share their experiences of m:brane 2025.
Nova Flodman
My name is Nova Flodman and I was a Youth Expert for the 19th edition of m:brane 2025.
m:brane is a forum and an event where directors and producers form all over the world can pitch their ideas for upcoming movies, games or shows. Participating as a Youth Expert means you get to listen to these pitches, as well as read about them beforehand, and then on stage give feedback and also ask questions about their work.
The productions are mainly targeted for young audiences, therefore it’s good to have some from that age group on stage to give their view, opinions and thoughts on the project. This experience was genuinely so much fun but also very giving because you get to be around these people who know so much about what you’re interested in, whether it be the production of VR, movies or TV shows.
I absolutely loved my time as a Youth expert for m:brane 2025 and I definitely hope that I get to participate again next year!
Filippa Krisby
Fillippa Krisby was a part of our Pitching panels and also of our Best Pitch Award Jury.
My experience as a Youth Expert at m:brane was not just great but also educational and inspiring. I got to meet many different people who share the same interest but also have different perspectives from mine. Feeling heard as a young person and knowing that people genuinely want to listen to what I have to say is truly a big plus. It makes me feel important in a meaningful context.
Wilda Spasic Förster
Wilda Spasic Förster was a part of our Pitching panels.
I had a conversation with some of the other Youth Experts about the whole event and how amazing it is.
It’s incredible how m:brane provides young people with a platform to make their voices heard in a world dominated by adults.
Wanda Høgel
For me being a part of m:brane meant that I had the special opportunity to see projects from every corner of the world, and trying to help them.
m:brane is a safe space for ideas between projects, youth expert and of course experts.REALYOUNG© workshop is a room where no question is stupid, the pitchers are open to our opinions and thoughts as youth experts, in a way that is not seen many other places.
