At m:brane, young audiences take centre stage! And more than 200 industry professionals come together in Malmö for a unique, focused international arena dedicated to content for young audiences. These project categories are eligible to be selected to pitch at m:brane 2027....
All selected producers receive dedicated Pitch Training weeks before the event. Once in Malmö, they sit down with our Moderator and Pitch Producer for a focused session to go through the final preparations and pitch-setup in detail the day before they are scheduled for presenting on stage.
Participants of our REALYOUNG© initiative for documentaries benefit even further from workshop presentations in a small, exclusive setting, valuable tutor-led expert advice, exchanges with our appointed Youth Experts and opportunities to guide each other across countries of origin and tradition
On stage: Following each five + five minute pitch, strategically assembled decision-makers, industry experts and young people join the producer for a moderator-led discussion exploring the project’s potential and marketability.
Your pitch doesn’t end when you leave the stage! We record the live presentations and expert feedback, allowing producers to refine their pitches and use the recordings to present their projects in other settings.
Engaged decision-makers get access to the recordings and can share them with colleagues and editorial leadership. This opens the door to further discussions and potential collaborations long after the forum has ended.
In recognition of an outstanding pitch presentation, the m:brane jury will confer the Best Pitch Award 2027, accompanied by a prizesum of €2,500 in collaboration with Creative Europe.
