2nd Call for Submissions to m:brane 2023
As we’re approaching the end of October we’re well into m:brane’s submission window. In this 2nd call we focus on two main pillars of the m:brane experience: REALYOUNG© and Focus Country: Norway
m:brane accepts submissions from all continents with a focus on European co-productions for all genres and platforms aimed at Children and Youth Audiences.
Submit Documentaries to REALYOUNG© PITCH and REALYOUNG© DEVELOPMENT. Deadline December 1st 2022
Since 2015 the m:brane initiative REALYOUNG© for Documentaries has grown stronger and stronger, and is now a weighty part of the international Youth Documentary scene.
m:brane’s REALYOUNG© is a well designed development scheme in tune with the overall vision of m:brane – to bring documentary producers in close dialogue with funders, distributors and a board of Youth Experts. To strengthen their quest for creating daring, edgy and contemporary projects for the international market.
REALYOUNG© is a 3-step programme where creators, funders, experts and publishers will develop, present and network with the aim of bringing great real life stories for children or youth across borders to an international audience.
It is possible to submit a documentary project for the following workshop categories:
REALYOUNG© Development (non-pitch)
► Get individual feedback through online consultation
► Take part in an intensive 1-day development programme
► Individual meetings with potential collaborators
► Gain full access to m:brane
► Network with international colleagues
► Obtain extensive knowledge about the international market for children and youth documentaries
► Receive advice and analysis of the project’s market potential
