What’s happening next?

Over Christmas the m:brane selection committee have evaluated all submitted projects. They will select projects for the following categories: Main Pitch, REALYOUNG Pitch, Work in Progress and REALYOUNG Development. When the selection committee has made its final selection, the selected producers will be notified directly by Pitch Producer Maritte Sørensen.

The official selection will be announced no later than January 28th 2022!

How is the m:brane Forum different in 2022?

Our 2022 Forum will be arranged as a hybrid event. That means all participants will be able to join us both online and on site in Malmö. From our studio in central Malmö, we will be broadcasting our Opening Industry Day, March 15th, with speakers joining us both digitally and on site.

The 8th REALYOUNG Workshop takes place on March 14th – in collaboration with Paradiddle Pictures

The pitching sessions at m:brane Forum will be moderated by Ove Rishøj Jensen from Paradiddle Pictures.

Observers

If you are a producer without a selected project at m:brane, or you have a project in a state too early for submission, you can attend as an Observer or ObserverPLUS. We encourage all producers and content creators to join m:brane as an Observer. This offers an invaluable opportunity to connect with leading professionals in innovative media content for Young Audiences.

At the end of January we will open our hybrid accreditation ObserverPLUS  for producers with projects that aren’t ready to be pitched yet, but still ready to be discussed. As an ObserverPLUS you can attend all three days, sign up for workshops and request meetings with Decision Makers or future co-production partners.

With an observer accreditation you get:

  • Observers seat at m:brane Pitching Event 1 + 2 March 16th + 17th – Access to The Opening Industry Day
  • Exclusive login to the m:brane members area
  • The indispensable m:brane Guide, packed with information and contacts on broadcasters, funders, distributors, commissioning editors and co-producers

With the ObserverPLUS accreditation you get:

  • Possibility to submit a project for one-to-one meetings. Submission opens on January 28th, 2022, with 10 spots available. Submission deadline is on February 17th.
  • Possibility to book meetings with decision makers (subject to availability)
  • Observers seat at m:brane Pitching Event 1 + 2 March 16h + 17th
  • Access to The Opening Industry Day
  • Exclusive login to the m:brane members area
