Cell Worlds

Renaud is a science populariser committed to the dialogue between science, culture and society. He works at the interfaces between these ecosystems, either through audiovisual production or through the creation of innovative initiatives in support of scientific research. He is the founder of Exaltia, a collective of popularisers (behind the art-science project Cell Worlds), the Double-Science festival, and the podcast The Lonely Pipette. He is a content creator for various media, including Jamy Gourmaud – Epicurieux on Tiktok. His work has received a number of accolades, including two awards from the Savoirs et Cultures fund supported by the CNC and ARTE, multiple festival selections (Les Utopiales, Pariscience, Imagine Science), and the Live-Reporter Commitment Award for the Fête de la Science.
It trains the scientific ecosystem to share science through new narratives and works for the recognition of popular science as a tool for democracy.

I am a science communicator, holding a PhD in Biology. I have a scientific background combined with transdisciplinary experiences. Today, I am dedicated to supporting scientific research by facilitating the production and dissemination of knowledge. To do so, I create audio/video contents in close collaboration with scientists and coordinate initiatives for the benefit of science-society dialogue.
